#1 White Water
Grab the family and head over to Branson for an unforgettable aquatic adventure at White Water. Their famous rides like the Kalani Towers Drop Slides, Ohana Falls, Pipeline Plunge and more will keep your family entertained for hours. At White Water, you can find dozens of dining options, numerous rides and an endless supply of fun.
#2. Republic Aquatic Center
Head south to visit the Republic Aquatic Center, home to one of the best public pools in the 417. Not only do they have plenty of traditional swimming space, they also have a speed slide, a corkscrew slide and several diving boards. Can’t make it to the beach this year? Get your wave on at their surfing simulator. There’s no shortage of fun here.
#3. Millwood Country Club
Millwood pulls out all the stops when it comes to creating the perfect pool space. The country club offers a competition pool for those pursuing exercise and a resort-style pool for those just looking to swim recreationally. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, you can head into The Cabana right by the pool for full bar service and a full menu service.
#4 Fassnight Pool
There’s plenty of room to stretch out at Fassnight Pool, which prides itself on being the largest public pool in Springfield. It’s conveniently located right in the center of the city, making it easy to get to from wherever you are. Dive in and enjoy their slide, two diving boards and fenced-in splash area!
#5. Twin Oaks Country Club
This massive beach-entry pool at Twin Oaks is a summer essential for all families in the area. If you’re worried about getting a little too chilly, don’t worry, this pool is heated to a comfortable temperature for all to enjoy. Families can also enroll their children in the Twin Oaks Swim Team or receive swim lessons for a little extra pool time.
#6. Meador Pool
Looking for something a little off the beaten path? Avoid the crowds at Meador Pool, located right by Battlefield Mall. This pool is one of Springfield’s hidden gems, and it usually isn’t as crowded as the other pools in town. Head over and enjoy your pool time in peace, and for only $3 per adult!

Adults can enjoy lounging near the fan-shaped pool while kids may be interested in coming by for swim lessons. This pool is only open to members, but if you ask us, it’s well worth the investment.

Ready for an underwater experience unlike any other? Go for a nontraditional swim at Wonders of Wildlife, where you can dive into the tank of tiger sharks, brown sharks and more. Not only does your $75 fee cover swimming with the sharks, it also includes your daily admission of $40. You don’t wanna miss this once in a lifetime experience.
The Fountain at Jordan Valley Park
If you want to cool off without a dip in the pool, make a visit to the fountains at Jordan Valley Park. These fountains run nearly all day in the summer, perfect for a quick refresh after being in the heat all day. Once you’ve had your fun in the sun, you can explore the park itself and its meadows and playgrounds.
